Is it possible to widen the width of the front and rear axles? Seems to me I read something about minimum width, leading me to believe there must be a maximum width. Adjust the wheels full width on my 1952 ACWD when working with the FEL/Trip Bucket and narrow them up when hauling on a trailer. All comments appreciated.

If they are 2wd, yes, there is an adjustment. If 4wd, no, there's no adustment. My information comes from my owner's manual.

Torquin, that is correct for the front axel on the 3130. The rear tread width on 2 and 4 wheel drive can be adjusted by removing the wheel and/or disk mounting bolts and changing the position of the rim and/or disk (right and left) to the desired position and then tighten the bolts.

(This is out of the manual also but this seems like way too much trouble for a trailer ride.)

My L30 series operators manual says that the front tread can not be adjusted. Somewhere that I did not find tonight, it said not to reverse the rims to change the tread. It could have been in the service manual.
