Ahhh, it's 19 degrees in Vermont and it couldn't be finer weather for tractoring. The ground is frozen and I am continually amazed at how incredible the traction is when there's no snow and the dirt is solid as a rock. I uprooted trees and pushed over stuff than simply wouldn't be possible in a non-frozen state. Whole root systems came out of the ground and the tractor just kept going. It's like the 3830 is a different machine! It just shows how important traction is to transfer a diesels power to the ground. I forgot how much slipping and sliding I do throughout the rest of the year. There's not too many days like this before the snow flies.......
