Winches Big Fun with Kubota and Winch

I should have cut these tree before I built the house but you know how that goes. They did lean quite a bit twords the house and am glad to have them gone.

great job ,nice lookin skidder you got there.never seen an orange one..ha ha. it must of been in the air up here in Maine today. I worked in my woodlot all day today,harvesting next years firewood.starting to see the trees trying to bud,just a trace of snow left in my woodlot.

That's a cool winch. Seems like a perfect fit for your tractor. What brand is it?

It was a beatiful day. Fortunatly I have most of my firewood done as the ground is still too soft here to go into the woods.
The winch is a Tajfun(pronounced typhoon) EGV30A.
Of course we have sleet and rain this morning. Come on summer!

I've been logging steady as winter is ending on me. I'm using a borrowed Farmi winch.

The woods aren't too bad as I can drive and drag on slash but the fields are awful! I've left 12 " deep ruts all over the place which are gonna be a pain to fix this spring.

A bunch of the stuff I skidded out in snow is now laying half way across a field I can barely walk through...

Worn alot of the paint off my Tajfun winch, use it two or three days a week clearing cedars.
