Tread width for L3400
My L3400 has two adjustment positions for widening the tread or narrowing it . Since I have a loader, I think I should adjust it as wide as possible. The tread (center of tire to center of tire) now is about 47 inches. I can move the wheel out to the inside position and get about 4 more inches, making the tread about 51 inches. Is this preferable with a loader? Also, it will effect the other implements such as bush hog, road scraper, etc. Would two inches on each side make any significant difference anyway?

Re: Tread width for L3400
I have L3010. It has 44,48,52,54 inch spacing. I have it on 52. I think that wider is better for stability. I have not tried switching tires, but having proper tools and a helper might help. I will change to 44 for using a potato digger.
