I saw an ad for a 30hp shuttle shift 4WD Kubota in the paper this morning for $3500. I thought it was surely a misprint but I called anyway. No misprint! The guy told me it was an L295. I went and looked at it and thought "Wow this thing is big for a 30hp". It has a few minor issues that won't be a problem to fix and one problem that has me baffled, the three point lever drops when you let go of it, but I will get it fixed. Anyway, I got back to work and started looking at the owners manual and realized he had given me the wrong book. The book was for a 355. Hmmm, I look up the 355 and it has a 4 cylinder engine, just like the one I just bought whereas the 295 is a 3 cylinder. When I get home I look at the serial number tag and sure enough it is a 1987 L355SSDT. It is really 36hp. Attached is a picture.
