Dpes anyone think Kubota parts are way expensive?
Dpes anyone think Kubota parts are way expensive?
Before I bought my bota I price3d the two gears that are in each bevel gear front axle. $750 for one, $250 for the other.

Everything is relative. Before choosing between an L3010 and a JD4300 I priced five replacement parts and found JD about 30% higher than Kubota. Of course I priced parts more likely to break than the bevel gears.

I priced a B7500 for my box blade. You wouldn't believe what they were asking.

No -n mot in comparison to Daihatsu - I have 2 Rocky 4X4.
Kubota's spare parts prices in Australia are reasonable and they are able to supply in a timely fashion.

YES!! This seems to be a common tactic among Japanese manufacturers...make a product (albeit, a good one) for a reasonable price, then gouge like crazy on maintenance and repair parts.
Japanese motorcycles are similar. Carburetor diaphragms on an '82 Honda--$69 apiece, and it takes four. Side cover gasket--$14. Turn signal flasher--$42.
