I had a hose go on my LA302 FEL this weekend (on a B7500).
Probably have about 50 hours of FEL use (about 100 total
on the tractor).
Was one of the smaller hoses that controls the curl.
The problems was that the inside brass fixture split.
I got it fixed (actually a new one, not fixed) at a local heavy truck shop; total cost of $11.
I asked the guy if the splitting of the fixture was common, as
this was first one I had that had done this. He said no, but
the design of the hose was odd in that he didn't usually see
it with the brass inside the "nut" like that.
The one he fabricated didn't have the brass inside a nut, but
was basically one piece.
I'm just wondering if my other hose fittings are about to split
and was curious if anyone else had experienced this on any
of their connections.
The split ocurred when I was using the FEL to put my MMM
own; I had finished and taken off the FEL when I was oil
leaking down at the front.
