Kubota B7510
Hi folks. It has been a while.

My Kubota has only 66 hours on it, and the float position detent has just stopped working. I had some problems with it in cold weather last winter, but this isn't a cold-weather issue. it just pops right out of the detent. I think I hear a noise coming from the front part of the loader, but I'm not sure. Can anybody help with this?

Thanks,
Jim

Not sure if your valves are the same as mine or not (L4330), but on mine, the detent assemblies are two hex bodies about 4-5" long on the bottom of the valve. They tend to collect water, which can then freeze OR just rust/corrode the little detent balls/springs. At the dealer's suggestion, I simply unscrewed them (carefully watch for any balls that may fall out!) and them cleaned them with clean kerosine followed by a good wipeout, and a final rinse. Before I screwed them back on, I mashed a good fingerfull of grease into the detent balls and around the threads. They've worked perfect since.
