After a frustrating day at TSC & 3 local tractor dealers, I need some help in finding the proper male connector to plug into the aux. hydro valve kit for my L-39. It appears that the generic "pioneer type" male coupler will not work.
The female couplers off the valve body are fixed, and do not have the sliding collar common on a quick connect coupler.
The female coupler is marked "PARKER 0312-001".
I checked Parker's website, but that model is not listed.
I have e-mailed Parker & Kubota, and am waiting for a reply.

This valve kit is Kubota part#32781-9630-0, and mounts on the right rear FOPS bar above the fender. The Kubota parts manual lists the coupler as part#3A111-8201-0.

Since mounting the valve kit, this is my 1st. use of the aux hydro valves. I fabricated 2 brackets to make use of a hydraulic cylinder to angle my Woods LR-106 rake. The CCM Top-N-Tilt set up will be next.

Thanks:
WALT

Walt...
I have found the Parker couplers at TSC to work perfectly.
Post a close up of your female couplers… they have to have something that releases the parts.
On my Kubota you pull the hydraulic lines toward you (to the rear)… that is what allows the insertion of the male coupling. KennyV.

Walt,

Sorry can answer you question, but I can say that those L39 sans rear hoe look pretty funny. I laugh when I look at mine without the hoe. It looks like a wet cat. LOL

Which we had all that snow. My wife and I went up to Killington for my birthday and there is no snow. It's pretty sad. LOTS of people drinking though. Fifty bars and no parking spaces.....crazy.

Thom should know what to use......I'm sure he'll reply in the next few days.

Ken:
I went to a 2nd TSC store. they are also out of the proper coupler for 3/8" female to Pioneer male.
I hope to get a reply from Parker and/or Kubota for the correct match.

Jim: I live a mile north of the local ski area, and work there as a snowmaker part time. We have not been able to make snow during the day in almost one month. The area is predicted to get 6" of snow tomarrow, and it may be <32 degrees this week to rebuild the snow base depth.

Regarding the L-39 without the B/H, in past years, I pulled the rake w/blade with my BX2200 to plow the driveway. Snow deeper than 6"-8" was challanging for the BX2200.
This year the BX2200 has my rotary sand spreader on for the winter, with the L-39 handling the plowing of my 400"+ driveway. With the higher ground clearance & horsepower, pulling the blade is easier & quicker, with the exception of a few of the deep (15") wet snows this year. The last storm was rain changing to 8" of snow. The gravel drive had thawwed, creating a giant mess, plowwing a bunch of my stone off the driveway.

The January Thaw is making for an early mud season in these parts.

Hey Walt, I'm sorry that I do not have the answer for you at this time, I have not utilized my rear remotes as of yet. However I do see what you mean, the female connectors do have the ball bearings lining the inside but there is no slip release for a quick discoonect on them? The male 1/2" connector slips in, but apparently no external release around the female end rim?

I'd like to know what you find out though.

When I installed the ANBO grapple on the front electronic remotes OEM from Kubota, they put 1/2" male Pioneer connectors onto the end of the two hydraulic lines. However I could not find any females that would fit them from Skid Steer Solutions or TSC. I finally just got a matched set of Pioneer Male-Female 1/2" connectors at TSC, removed the OEM Kubota connectors, and installed the new matched male-female 1/2" set I got at TSC in place of the OEM Kubota units. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It only cost about $20 so no big deal, but I never did find out what was the proper match up for the OEM Kubota front remotes.

If I cannot figure out the correct setup for the OEM Kubota rear remotes, I'll remove them too and install something I know that works!

Let us know what you find out though, please. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Most of the new large AG tractors do not have any type of release on the couplers. You just insert the hose into the coupler and push until the hose snaps in. To release you just pull hard on the hose and it will pop out of the remote. These type of remotes are common on John Deere and New Holland tractors. Maybe Kubota has started using them also. They are so much easier to use when you are changing different implements during the day. We had one tractor on the hay farm that still had the collar type release remotes and it was a pain in the butt to get the hoses off once it had built up pressure when change the fluffer to the rake. I am not sure of the size or type of connector you need.

Yes, thanks, I see what you mean, that is exactly what I thought it was going to be like, but having not used it yet, I was not sure.

It would be a major bummer to have one of those male connectors accidentally pull out of the female one though. How difficult is it to pull the male out? Apparently they are designed so that if there is some external mechanical hangup with something that grabs or jams onto the hydraulic hose, it automatically releases (without spraying high pressure oil all over either).

If they are under pressure they are hard to pull apart. It there is no pressure they pull apart pretty easy. They are made that way so that if you come up hitched or forget to unhook a hose they will unhook. They seal when they unhook. Most or should I say allot of Ag equipment use 4200 series Parker connectors. When you get use to this kind, you will detest the others. If you down load the Parker connector catalog you can check out what they offer.
