BX23
Hey all... been a while. I was landscaping this morning when I noticed fluid running out from under the left side front axle of my BX23 (259 hours). After shutting it down and checking all fluid levels, I determined that it was coming from the power steering lines. I started it up and drove it into the shop 30 yards away. I removed the grill gaurd and the engine cowling and discovered that there was a hole worn through the covering on the hoses and right into the hose. The hose is routed right over the head of a bolt on what I believe is the fuel injection pump and the head on the bolt rubbed right through the hose. What a poor design. I'll be talking to my dealer on Tuesday... He's closed on Mondays. Of course.... My warrenty expired last FRIDAY. Everyone needs to look for this issue. You cannot see it unless you remove the engine cowling. I'll post some pictures very soon.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like you definitely found the cause.
Hate to see it though.
I'll be checking mine out.
