I was wondering if anyone had the part # for the wheel spacer kit for the L2800. My dealer can't seem to find them and doesn't think they exist. I called TractorSmart and they priced them at $150, but I didn't get the part number.

I looked at mine the other day for wheel spacers and I don't have them, I also check the distances again it they came out to 1.5 with the turn buckle flat. I have my BB on it.

I ordered a set of 1" spacers. Here is the story I got from Carver Equipment.

There was an intial problem with the R4s being too close to the fenders when these tractors first came out. Kubota rectified the problem with wheel spacers and permanently fixed it by modifying the rims a little to get some more space between the tire and fender.

I must have got an older set of rims as it is impossible to slide my hand between the sidewall and fender. The 1" spacers will help a little. Carver was one of 2 online dealers of about 6 that I called that knew of the spacers. The others said the kit did not exist. The cost was $95 + shipping. If anyone is interested, Carver can get them for you. Keller Bros. was the other dealer that had them and I thought they said they had 1.5" spacers. I will post some comparison pictures when I get them in later this week.

Just curious: Can any of you 2800/3400 owners with R4s slide your hand between the fender and sidewall?

I can't really tell, too much mud, :) but it looks about the same as mine. I will post a pic when I get the spacers on.

Yea when I was posting the picts, I thought it would have been better If I had put a ruller in to show the actual spacing. So far I have not had any problems.

I got the 1" spacers installed. The top pic is without. The next two are with the spacers installed. Not a lot of differece, but every little bit helps I guess. For anyone interested, I believe the part# for the spacers is L8787.

Your origionals are narrower than mine but it looks like you may have gained a 1/4 to 1/2" on me with the spacers.

Would you say that the spacers actually help with stability as well as it spreads the wheels out a tad bit more, or is it nothing to mention?!
