if there is anyone who knows the model number for the loader that goes with a 1979 b7100d i surely need it to order a cylinder for it. cant imagine kubota would have made more than one model for that tractor.

If I remember right, my B7100 had a Kubota 1630 loader on it. It was not an easy on -- easy off rig, no QA bucket either, but it was a very good fit for the tractor and a very strong (for it's size) little loader.

Welcome to the board. If I was you, I would check in at the Kubota forum, too, if you haven't already done so.

I'm pretty sure my 7100 HST has the 1630 loader as well. I did some research a while back and found 3 possible kubota FEL. the 1630 was the only one that did not have any "easy on easy off" setup. Also depending on whats wrong with the cylinder it could be a lot cheaper to have the seals replaced.

As soon as time premits I need to do the same to my old loader. If you do the work yourself I understand it can be done for about 30 bucks each. I've also noticed the seals in my loader valve are leaking more then the cylinders. You might want to look at the valve before ordering new cylinders as well.

I think my b7100d tractor is about the same age (serial number 59680) and it came with a b219 loader. Runs off a front PTO pump with the reservoir in the right hand upright, round back bucket.

Its getting dark but I grabbed a few pix, will post here shortly.

I'm thinking those may be aftermarket hydraulic cylinders. Try a shop that does hydraulics and see what they say.

My 1978 B6100 has the Kubota B219 loader just like Charles' B7100.

My FIL is the original owner and I got it from him. The cylinders may look aftermarket because they're not painted Kubota orange but they're original.

I have a leak in one of mine and got the re-packing kit from tractorsmart who advertises/posts here. Looks like a pretty straight forward repair if I can figure out how to remove the snap ring holding it together. The snap ring that came with the kit isn't like any snap ring I've ever seen. It's hard steel and has no "snap" to it at all plus it's as big around as the cylinder so normal snap ring pliers won't open wide enough. Until I come up with a plan of action to get the snap ring off, I'm just living with the leak.

doctorslo - what's wrong with your cylinder?

My 1995 B7100 had the B1630C loader, but the tractor he asked about was too early a model for the 1630 loaders.

When I traded mine in at a Kubota/Case dealer, they weren't sure what year it was. It had no ROPS when I got it, and the guy who picked it up wondered about the color of the non-orange parts of it, which were kind of a blue-gray. I don't know what year it was, but it was pretty old. The pick-up guy wondered if it might have been gray market since they couldn't find the SN in their books and it was on the wrong part of the tractor. P.O. said it was from a dealer on the south side of Akron, Ohio in Springfield Township, that's out of business now.

THANK U SO MUCH. if my exhaust wasnt mounted horizontally, instead of vertically like yours, i'd swear it was the exact tractor! if i hadnt noticed the vertical exhaust in your pics, i'd be out to the barn to make sure mine was still there! i even see similar scratches and wear on the loader, etc.
