Took these pictures a couple weeks ago when we got our first real snow. On this day it was about 15 degree's and the wind was blowing. Sure was nice to be in a heated cab listening to the radio. The driveway is all of 1000 ft, the first year we lived there I plowed it with a 3030 w/o a cab, nearly froze to death. Told the wife I needed a cab, once I got the okay on the cab I figured I would pick up a few more ponies while I was at it. My Dad, a farmer, tells me I've gone soft...I tell him I got smart.

It used to be work when I had to open the rear window and use a crank to turn the chute. So went to tractor supply, bought an electric winch, cut the crank handle and welded the gear on the winch to the end of the crank handle, hooked up the wiring to the Kubota and now all I do is push a button and the chute turns. Sixty bucks for the winch is alot cheaper than six hundred for rear remotes plus whatever the cost would be for the hydraulic clylinder and hoses for the chute. Here is a pic.

Yes, super. I don't think you could want for much more when working in the snow. I especially enjoy your front blade set-up.

Mike,

Your blade looks a lot like my setup (5030 & Curtis)... is it a Curtis?

Your blower and winch adaptation is great!! What kind of blower is that?
