I have a 1977 B7100 with a manually transmission, when I bought the tractor, the guy even had the original owners manual. It say to use SAE80 oil for the transmission/hydraulics.
A dealer I went to for the first time, told me that this is UTF fluid, the same I use for the FEL? Is this correct? I know that the transmission fluid is also the hydraulic fluid for the 3 point lift. Just want to make sure I was not getting bad advice from my local dealer.. |

Yup, just hydro fluid. We get the stuff by the 55 gallon drum at work - none of this fancy shcmancy Kubota only brand stuff.
(For far more in depth discussions of the different types of oil there is a forum dedicated to Those That Believe...) |
