Hello Fellow TBN'ers,
As part of the 50 hour maintenance Kubota recommends that the clutch pedal free travel be checked and adjusted if needed. I have tried to perform the measurements as provided in the manual and just can't seem to get repeatable and accurate measurements. I have tried dial calipers and feeler gages without success. The difficulty in getting an accurate and repeatable measurement given the location of the stopper bolt relative to the clutch housing seems to the issue.
Has anyone actually ever made these measurements and adjustments successfully and if so how and what instruments/tools did you use.? Maybe its as simple as me not approaching this the right way or misunderstanding something in the manual.
Any help is appreciated.
