I pay about $84 from the JD dealer for my FAE teeth. I have the FAE that cat branded the 415. I good really good life out of the OEM teeth and I work in rocky country.
Quadco now offers holders and teeth for bobcat heads now.. Got a set ordered for my 870
And I also would love to get the pressure turned up on my 870 as well.. My dealer said more flow and pressure is in the works for the 2014 870's which should run with the 299dxhp as they have the exact same motor in them
There's a little more to it than that in order to compete hydraulically with the CAT. Try starting with a direct drive load sensing pump instead of a belt driven gear pump, a hyd oil tank bigger than 3 gal and a total hyd capacity larger than 9.5 gal would be good, and an engine torque increase of from 239 to 287 to match the CAT would be a pretty good start.
Anyone can tell me how much diesel burn per hour a fecon FTX 90, 100, 140 aprox In full time mulch?
And how many hours last stone teeth?
thankss
My old 140 burnt 6.5 an hour, before I bought it I demoed a 100 and it sucked down the fuel the newer ones mite be better I don't know this was a 08 model I demoed
My 140 burns between 5.5 and 6.5 when throttled up to 2350 and mulching dense material.
Hey Cat, Do you still have your 140?
Nope sold her!!!
