Moles?

   / Moles? #22
I have started using the rubber worms similar to the link to Talpirid Mole Bait.

They seem to be VERY effective (albeit expensive). Started using them last fall, and there was a marked reduction in mole activity under the snow after this winter. I've placed about 10 of the "worms" out in the last 2-3 months, and each placement seems to be 100% kill (no activity in the runs).

The "worm" is like a rubberized fishing worm. I'm not sure that the mole doesn't just eat them and dies from it stuck in its system. But they are touted as being poison so possibly the consistency of rubber means they go after it thinking it is food.

Its been the most effective method for me since using traps (works but also a lot of extra hassle) and a lot of poison bait pellets (they work sometimes too, but not as fast or deliberate as the "worms").
