The dealer told me the best thing that he was told since he is new to the DPF stuff is to keep the RPMs up a little. Maybe a minimum of 1500 or so. I know when I first got it I wanted to be gentle on mine and didnt do that and I noticed it went through the DPF cycle more often. Now I keep it up around 1500 to 1800 and I notice that it goes thru the cycle every 4 hours. Getting close to my 50 hr service that I need to take care of.
That's kind of what I was thinking about the RPMs. I think that may be why my light triggered momentarily. I'll keep an eye on the light. Thanks gphil.
