LS XR3135HC
I just snow plowed my drive for the first time with my XR3135hc and noticed a difference between it and my previous JD 3320 cab. The LS seems to be slow in reverse regardless of the gear you are in. Anyone else experienced this?

I usually plow in mid range with my XR3037HC. Reverse is a little slower than fwd. but not that much. What range are you using? Was your 3320 hydro? If not your 3135 may seem slower and might take a while to get used to.
Low range for heavy loader work or when I use the forks for loading / unloading. Only time I use high range is on the road.

My 3320 was hst. I initially was in mid range then changed to hi. Mine is noticeably slower in reverse than fwd.

As you said, probably just need to get used to it.

I've only owned 2 tractors with HST and I'm guessing reverse is at least 25-30% slower. I don't have any problem with that. Just like any car / truck, reverse is slower.
Look at it this way, MORE TRACTOR SEAT TIME IN YOUR HEATED CAB. What's the hurry.

Mine is the same way, slower in reverse than forward.

That's good to know, I thought I might have a problem, but I guess not.

George is correct, set the heat and crank up the radio.

Yeah, I don't see it as a problem. I have no need to go backwards fast anyway.
