Also look at the Wix 51348 it is the longer filter and has a 15 micron rating.
Part Details
I think I will use this for my 50 hour. I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow and see what they say.
I know that they will still cover me as they gave me the original NAPA number.

This time around I used the dealer filters. Maybe next time, I'll check again to see if the cross references are more solid.

Thanks for your reply.

Changed fuel filter for the first time on my 7010, it has 300 hours on it. I bought the o.e.m. filter, $42.00. I had a little bad luck with it, the darn drain plug leaked and I ended up getting air in the lines. Ended up bleeding the fuel injectors and the tractor started right up. No major issue but a pain in the ????.

Gary,

Did you ever cross reference the filters (air/oil/hydro) for the 7010? If so, could you post/share?

Thanks,

IHR

FYI Just did both Hydro Filters and dump, Refilled with Schaeffer's #315 LS Manual calls for 14.5 US Gallons of fluid and it only took 12.5-13.00 tops to fill it checked several times and even after 5 mile drive down road after service and using loader. still right at the full mark. LS P7010C

Have 2013 xr4046 with cab, looking for filter numbers for this unite.its the suburu or how ever you spell it tier 4 engine. Thanks

Hi, only posting things I know for a FACT. Got tired of the LS dealers trying to rip me off ($375 +labor for the first 50 hr service).

2015 LS XR4046H
Engine- Tier 4 compliant Shibaura 4 cylinder engine

I changed engine oil and filter. Used Fram PH3614 ($3.77 at auto parts store, it's a 3/4"-16 thread, industry standard 21 micron filtration, almost exactly same dimentions as the original LS filter)
I used 5w40 Mobile 1 diesel synthetic oil for year-round compatibility, it took 1.5 gal., Walmart had the best price of $29/gal. NOTE: there are two drain plugs, one on each side of the front drive line.

HST(hydra-static unit)

It takes a very popular hydraulic filter Wix 51551 ($9.89) my husky log splitter takes the same one. ( 1"-12 thread, 10 micron filtration) NOTE: i've seem someone posted Wix 51553, do not use that one because it is 33 micron filtration, you need 10.

Hydraulic filter (the big one)

It takes Wix 51715 ($50.39, 40x2.0 metric thread, 10 micron filtration) NOTE: that one leaks a lot of hydaulic fluid out during the change so have everything close by, I lost about a gallon. And by the way I used AW 46 oil, you do not have to buy LS hydraulic oil, manual recommends either 46 or 68 depending on average temperature.

I'm still working on a fuel pre-filter, so far no luck finding the exact match.

Just for comparison. I bought the LS engine, hydrostatic, and hydraulic filters, a 2 gallons of Rotella and 2 gallons of hydraulic fluid for just under $150 from my LS dealer.

Compatible Hydraulic Fluids by brand for LS Tractors

Someone in another thread asked me a long time ago to post this here, but I never saw the request until now. This is a list of compatible hydraulic fluids by brand that you can use in your LS tractor.
