re: LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information
I have the 4041EZ and just did my 50 hours service of ALL filters. I used all NAPA filters. I did go to my local NAPA and priced the filters after I priced them online. He couldnt even come close to the internet prices I got. My price was actually lower than what he gets them for from NAPA. I ordered mine online from fleetfilter
1) There are 3 drain plugs for the hydraulic fluid.
2) The manual says it takes 11.4 gallons of hydraulic fluid. I found that it only takes about 10.
3) Oil capacity calls for 1.9 gallons. I found that it only takes about 1.5 with filter.
As for the filters, I used all NAPA brand.
Air: (Inner) NAPA 2985 (Outer) NAPA 6438
Hydro: NAPA 1715
Fuel: NAPA 3128
Oil: NAPA 1064 (has bypass and anti drainback)2011 LS R4041EZ W/ FEL - 1948 Ford 8N - 2011 Craftsman 6000 Tight Turn

re: LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information
A little google check on that wix 51715 hydraulic filter and found a pretty good price:
Wix 51715
Not sure if this is the right one for my R4047 but I already bought one from my dealer so It'll be a while before I need to revisit this.

re: LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information
JUST DISCOVERED I WAS WRONG ON THE AIR FILTER -- THIS IS THE CORRECT PART NUMBER:
Air: Wix 46449, NAPA 6449
Sorry -- see my post with pictures of both air filtersLast edited by LittleBlueTractor; 11-27-2011 at 12:21 AM. Reason: added a link

re: LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information
So I want to verify that you guys didn't change the oil or hydro at the 50hr maintenance. The owners manual only says to change the oil and hydro filter...not the fuel filter and not the fluids. I could really save the money right now but dont want to do anything that isn't in the best interest of long-term care of the tractor. Thanks in advance for the input.
