Already mentioned this in the other loader problem thread, but I have found that the dual-function control on the loader is NOT up to par with other loaders.

Specifically, I can lift the boom AND curl up the bucket fine.... And I can lower the boom AND drop the bucket.

But, raising the boom and dropping the bucket, as well as dropping the boom and curling up the bucket, are extremely touchy and nearly impossible to perform with finesse and/or consistency.

I took a look at it today, and I think I figured out why... What I'd like to know is if there's a way we could improve on the design.

Honestly I think the issue is more in the valve itself, and not in the control...

I have a boomer 30 and I was fighting with this the other day. Pretty brutal when trying to dump a load. The control on my little yanmar was miles better. Unless your very slow and feel around with the joystick, you just can't get the boom to raise and the bucket to dump.
