Stopped by the LS stand at the Louisville Farm Show and they had a new model, the XR3135. I believe they said its 32HP. Looks just like the XR3037. The sales rep was from the NC office. He said they are switching to the LS engines in June. The 25HP and under will not change. The engines greater than 25HP will change over to the LS engines. They are common rail injected and will be about 3HP more than the current engine. The XR3037 will be 40HP with the new engine.

Pics of the new XR3135:

When you say switching to LS engines do you mean going back to Mitsubishi engines?

It does look like my XR3037HC. The loader is a LL3106, The 3037 loader is a LL3105. I wonder what's different. Maybe more lift cap?
I'm going to the Tractor Farm Show in Syracuse later this month. I hope an LS rep is there. I want to ask why the XR3032 and 3037 3 pt. lift capacity is lower than the loader lift. On most all other models the 3 pt. will lift more than the loader.

I wish they had a spec sheet there, but they didn't even have pricing for it yet.

I'll be checking it out later this month at the Farm Show. Maybe they'll have a spec sheet by then. If it's available by then I'll post the specs. They were there last year and I bought mine 2 weeks later.

I doubt I'll be trading in my Shibaura motored LS on a new to the market LS motor. It may become a great motor but Shibaura and Mitsubishi motors have been around for a while.

I was under the understanding that when LS was using the Mitsubishi motors they were actually making them and that wasn't the case with the shibuara motors. That's why I asked if they were going back to building the Mitsubishi motors. Or maybe they really are building their own.

On their website they have a "press release" about opening up a new plant to build motors. Not sure how long that's been up there.

According to post #3 LS is going to build their own in house. I don't know how this will affect any contracts they have with Mitsu or Shib.
