What would be a good price on this tractor paying cash and getting the current $1,500 rebate? No fel or any other equipment; just the tractor with ag tires. Have been quoted $23,000 and $22,000 on the phone from two dealers.
Thanks |

miller is that a new tractor you're looking at? i have a february price list form my mahindra dealer and they want about 28,600 for the 7520 4wd. tractorhouse has only one 4wd 7520 and '04 w/ 669 hours and FEL for $23,500.
not sure if this helps. you could check ebay. i'm sure dougster wouldn't mind some friendly competition. ![]()

Mahindra Tractor 2005 7520 4WD - (eBay item 280144422544 end time Aug-24-07 20:46:05 PDT) Clint - I think those prices you gave him are with FEL. He says he doesn't want an FEL. Of course, he could always order one with an FEL and then sell the FEL to me!!! Of course, I have no idea where on earth he lives. Dougster |

I believe with the rebate included, the prices that you have should be real close to the best that you are going to get, but then I haven't bought one in a while. Good luck. ![]()

Pecanman, I assume you are talking about Capital. The best price I could get from them last week was 29,000. If I could get it for the price you paid I would go load it up tomorrow!

If you are anywhere near southern AL try calling Pound's Tractor at 334-858-6157. Mr Pounds is a fair man and usually beats any price around the panhandle of FL or southern AL.

Rustyjeep: I did buy the 7520 at Capital Equipment in NLR. I think the salesman's name was Ronnie. I have about 130 hours on the tractor and it has done a good job so far. I use it to pull a stick rake, a pecan harvester, a 15' batwing bush hog and to push up piles of brush. Pecanman

I think a fair price depends a lot on your location. If you notice, there is a good bit of difference in pricing depending on where you are located which I'm sure comes from the cost of freight on the tractors from the distributor to dealer.
Also some areas have more dealerships and therefore have to be a lot more competitive with their pricing. At times I'm shocked at some of the prices that are posted on here from different locations.
