Nitrors4,
I talked to Travis this morning. He said that Cindy, their new salesperson was not there last weekend. The credit manager, Claire, was. Did you talk to a red headed lady?

I have slept too many times since then. Not sure who I spoke with. Does not matter know, I am going to purchase a Kubota M5040 tomorrow.

I was ready to go red, but they were mia so I looked at the others and liked them.

No problem, I still my my chainsaws from them.

Thanks for all your help though!

I hope you enjoy your big orange tractor! Are you buying from Allied Power Mart or the Kubota dealer in Cleveland? Can I ask what the selling price was?

Allied Powermart in Conroe, although the Clevland location is now owned by them as well.

$24,550.00 out the door with filled tires and hooks on the bucket....delivered.

I hope I like it as well.

Nitrors4,
Oh, I didn't know they bought out the Cleveland dealer. I used to deal with Allied Power Mark south of Conroe when I had a Ford 3055. The reason I sold the Ford and bought a Mahindra was because Allied Power Mart lost their New Holland/Ford franchise. They gave good parts service and the service manager really knew his older Fords. I never had them work on my Ford, but I continually picked his mind on how to work on my 3055.
Are you getting 2 or 4 wheel drive? I just checked Kubota specs on the M5040. A 2 WD Mahindra 5500 weighs 1218 pounds more and the 4WD Mahindra 5500 weighs 2262 pounds more. I can see why you had your tires filled.

I am going with the 4wd model. Yes I know it is a lighter tractor, but that is not always a bad thing. Just depends what you are doing with the tractor.

I like the ergonimics of the Kubota (for me) over all the tractors I tried out.

It should be sitting in my drieway Wed.

Nitrors4,
Keep me in mind when you need backhoe work.
