Default 5520/5530 Price

I am considering moving up to a small ag/utility size tractor. I am looking at tractors like the John Deere 5103/5203, New Holland tt60a, and Kubota M4800. I am condsidering taking a drive to check out Mahindra and am wonder if I can expect them to come in under the other price wise? It appears that the John Deere 5203 with 4wd and quick attach loader can be had for about $24,000 and the 5103 for $23,00. Just wonder if it is worth the drive to check them out.

Don't know here you are from and how far you need to travel to see a Mahindra. But for me I am completely safisified with my Mahindra 3325. It was less expensive than the JD of Kubota by a mile for the same HP. I do think my tractor is heavier and more has steel than plastic. But the 3325 and 3525 are older designed tractors. I would for sure look at them if I were you. Only short side is name recogination. Deere and Kubota are still stronger here. But the name doesn't do the work.

the 5530 w/ FEL should come out close but not sure about the 5520.....it all depends on your location also. I would compare the specs on the Mahindra's vs. JD, Kubota, etc.....

The Mahindra 5530 will probably be similarly priced but are quite a bit heavier duty tractor. Compare the weight of the tractor and the lift capacities.
