I seriously doubt prices will only be going up especially since they are having the emission changes as well as the rising cost of fuel.

If it were my guess I'd think the financing would stay the same but us dealers really do not know til right before the next month.

I stopped by the dealer on my way home. I had him send in my application for the loan, he is going to call them back tomorrow, he said I'd get it one way on another, just maybe a little higher interest rate.
So I haven't signed anything, but have pretty much committed to the 3215. It is not a HST, has 12 hrs, FEL and BH. $20,780 before taxes. I think that is a pretty good price, as some of you have said.
I haven't actually *seen* this machine yet. But told him I wanted to see it before I committed for sure. It is at a different location than the one that is on my way. It is about 30 miles away, way out of my way. He said they'd have it at this store in the next couple of days. I'll inspect it, take it for a spin and probably commit then, as long as everything looks alright.

Thanks for everyones input. I look forward to helping some of you with something some day.

Patrick

Thumbs up Re: Decisions (4530 vs. 3215)

I haven't signed the papers yet, but the dealer came over tonight (at 11pm) and dropped off the tractor.
My wife came out and snapped some pictures, "To save this moment for posterity." Whatever that means!!

Thanks for all your patience to answer my questions and give me advice.

This just says it all doesn't it?

The 3215 is definitely a really cool looking tractor with great specifications. I am thinking about getting a 3215 HST.

**** good lookin tractor!

You remind me of me when I got mine.. Uhh, wonder what that lever does... hehe

Enjoy!

Keep it under cover and don't get TOO deep into limbs and stuff so it will stay pretty. Also watch out for limbs on the hood, and for gods sake buy a brush guard for the front. (or make one) Preferably with wire mesh in it!

Get zerk fittings. Get extra pins etc.. Get either a battery powered grease gun or a air powered. (Hand operated ones don't work very good)
Important to grease all the zerks now in case dealer missed some.

And get that siteating grin off your face! ha

I still have the grin!! I'll have to look for some pictures of a brush-guard. Of course now that I have the tractor, and a whole weekend off, it is pouring down the rain outside....

I'll look into the greasegun. I plan on using the tractor to build a couple of barns.
And I gotta look into getting the tires filled.
Oh, and putting some lights on the ROPS or something. As you can see in the one picture, when you have the bucket in a "standard" hauling position, it blocks the headlights. There is also not a light, a 'work light', pointing backwards so I can see what I'm 'hoeing' in the middle of the night.

'Cause we all need to dig holes in the middle of the night.....

I had them put lights on my rops when I bought mine. Took the limbs about 2 days to remove them.

You also want a toothbar. So you can pick up logs and stuff.

I thought i'd mount them under the ROPS, might protect them a little.

As a native Hoosier, I just gotta say - now get rid of that green hat.
Congratulations, and welcome to the Mahindara owners family.

But they gave me the hat when I bought the lawnmower...and my daughter so loves hers too!
The Mahindra dealer gave her a model of a 5525 I think it is. I hate to say it, but she's going to go places with her looks. Although she is plenty smart too!

You're a long way from home.
