MY 3510 HST is at the dealers for service and I am kicking around trading up to a larger tractor. Thinking of 30 series, either 45, 55 maybe 6530. My 3510 has a FEL and 206 hours in good shape. What kind of trade would you consider fair?
I may be wrong, but I don't think that there are all that many 3510 owners here. So if that is true, everybody is going to be guessing just like you, and you own one. Sorry but I can't really help you out.
I am only basing this on what I was offered trade on the 6000 to the 7010 a couple years back. My 6000 had 500 hours then and had just been serviced by the dealer I talked to about trading. I paid $22500 when I bought it from him 30 months earlier and he offered me $15000 trade in. Roughly 2/3 what I paid. Just couldn't live with that! I'll be checking again soon as I want to get a smaller tractor for cleaning out the poultry houses and want a backhoe.

Thanks,

Generally a trade-in value on a machine that is 2-4 years old will be in the range of 50-70% of what you paid for it.
