Default help mahindra 2015HST

I am looking at a friends three year old Mahindra 2015 HST
with front loader and backhoe, also a snowplow. It has 160hrs
He used it to move a lot of stone on his property so the fel is
a little dented. Other than some scratches and scrapes it runs
well. He is asking me to make an offer. I need help .....what
should this be worth approximatly?? I believe he paid 24K for it new.
thanks everybody for the help

I recently saw a 2415 (little larger machine) for sale in NC, it was an '07 model w/75 hrs, loader and hoe-$15,400. That's the only price reference I know for a "similar" equipped machine.

Yeah... I can't believe he paid 24K for the machine new.. IF he did... He got majorly screwed... unless he is in Canada.. there MIGHT be a difference then... otherwise he paid several thousand more than LIST for the package...

I'll second the no way he paid 24k here in the U.S. that probably about 5k on the high side or more depending on what part of the country your in. As far as a value, i would have to say maybe a resonable price maybe around $12,000 give or take without seeing it and what part of the country your in.

The trade-in value (what I dealer would give) is about $6500 for that 2015 (tractor only) with HST and 4WD. The average resale (what a dealer gets) is around $8500. Now you need to price the FEL (maybe $2K considering it's small size and the fact that it's beat up), the backhoe (maybe $3K depending on condition) and the snowplow (I don't have a clue on what that thing's worth).

Since you're dealing with a friend and who I assume is not a dealer ( a dealer will add his costs for dealer prep, inventory fees, handling and profit), you might offer your friend $7K for the tractor only plus whatever you think the implements are worth.

Hope this helps.
