The local dealer offered a ( I think 2007 8560 FEL 4x4) and I was reading that this model was released after 4/2008. Is the dealer mistaken about the year or was this model made in 2007? Also I saw a post that said the 4x4 is not direct but assisted 4x4. Just wanted to get some good feedback as this will be a major purchase. Thank you in advance for any info.

Yes, I believe the dealer made a mistake, and that tractor is a 2008 model. As to the 4 wheel assist, that is what it is. 4 wheel assist means that the tractor has smaller gears in the front axil than it does in the rear axil. 4WD tractors with smaller tires on the front than on the rear are really 4 wheel assist. True 4WD tractors have the same size gearing and tires on the front and rear, and most are articulated tractors.

Thank you. The price he gave me was $29,485.00 and I believe it has less then 200 hours on it. Do you think it will handle the 3500 lbs/ pallet of sod and is that a good price? Thanks again.
