Default Interested in a 2525

I have a friend looking at a 2525 w/ bucket. He owns 5 acres. The principal use will be landscaping and clearing driveway (looking at snowblowers too). Anyone familiar w/ this model? If so, what do you think?

Thanks.
Bob

I hadn't ventured to stock any of them, until this spring, when I had a customer that saw one at another dealer this winter, and wanted me to order him one. He told me he had looked at it on a very cold winter day and was surprised at how well it started up. I order the tractor for him and when it arrived he was on vacation for 2 weeks and while it sat on my lot I sold 3 more. The experience so far has been some minor warranty issues right off of the bat. Fuel caps not venting, radiator cap not venting, 1 hydraulic sealing washer, 1 thermostat, and one safety switch. I fixed those problems in the first few weeks they were out in the spring, and they have been problem free since. All 4 of the customers say they are very happy with them now. The 2525 is not the tractor that the Mahindra 15/16 series tractors are but the price isn't what they are either. One of the customers even handles round hay bales with the loader. I hope this helps.

Galen,

I am happy for your sucess with the 2525. I have yet to stock one at my dealership, but after your story I may just have to rethink my position.
