5010 HST/Cab Take a Backhoe?
I've narrowed my search down to a cab 50hp HST machine with a bh to TYM (T503), Mahindra (5010) and Kioti (DK50SE) all with loaders. The Mahindra 5010 HST cab specs out above the others (for me, including price by 5K less against the TYM and 9K for the Kioti). The problem is the backhoe. Kioti and TYM have factory backhoes offered, but the Mahindra doesn't. I've talked to two dealers in my area and one says no bh, the other says yes. Literature and website don't offer a bh for this model. Should I be concerned about an aftermarket bh, assuming that's what the "yes" dealer is doing? I want a subframe attachment with any bh.

Re: 5010 HST/Cab Take a Backhoe?
I think Mahindra is telling you that they do not presently have a 5010 with backhoe package that they warrantee, that is why they don't sell you one. That does not mean you can't put one on, but you would be on your own as far as damage to the tractor. They offer backhoe packages in the 35 series, which is a heavier tractor. But then you would have to add a soft or hard cab...

Re: 5010 HST/Cab Take a Backhoe?
The 5010 is built for Mahindra by TYM and most of the tractor drive train is the same except for the engine. You could measure both tractors and if the same you could buy the tractor from Mahindra and get the loader and backhoe from TYM. When I looked at them at Louisville that was the bigest diference I could see other than the hood. That would give you the tractor at the better price and a full mounted backhoe to go along with the loader. The main area that would be diferent would be from the center of the tractor to the front end.

Here is a pic of My woods bh9000 on a 5030HST Kubota. Check with Woods for a subframe for your tractor. I might be talked into selling mine. 9.5 foot digging depth it is no toy.
