Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
ILUVBIGBUCKS,
Good to go on the remotes.
Very familiar with farming on 148 acre dairy farming in MN. Very much like your dad, team of Percherons, MM ZA, 49' Ford 2n, and more hp as the years went by. MM 4 Star, Farmall H then the JD3020. Brother has the home place and still in the dairy business and now staight JD. Yes those were the good days. Post pics when it arrives.
Have a good day.

Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
Wow, brought up on a Dairy farm!!! Now you know what hard work is without a doubt at all! I've heard that is beautiful country up there in MN. I've never been but will someday. Of course it will be in the Summer! LOL You know us South TX people freeze at anything below 50 or so! LOL
Thanks, and I'll sure post a picture when I get it.
Have a good one as well.

Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
Let me tell you that when we had three days of straight south wind it would rain on the fourth day. Thanks to the gulf!!! Yes all the way from there. Next, which is the summer heat and humidity, started in late May and at 4pm every day the mosquitos would start their evening meal on anything that had blood. I can say what I miss is the ice fishing. Left that state permanently in 73' Yes it is a pretty state to visit but.... The PNW is hard to beat.

Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
No doubt about it, it is beautiful for sure. We are getting very, very dry now down in South TX again. We need some rain badly. The corn and milo stands are beautiful but need a couple of inches now for the farmers to make a good harvest. If they don't get at least an inch or two in the next 2-3 weeks, the bushels per acre will not be good in our area.
By the way, my tractor was delivered last Thursday evening. We had to go out of town for a wedding all weekend but go back early enough Sunday to get a little seat time in. My son and I cut up a big hackberry tree that broke off a couple weeks ago about 8' above the ground and moved it to a stump and made a burn pile. I then pulled out 5 or 6 big mesquites that had been laid over about 18 months ago from a twister. They were 18" - 30" in diameter and were about 16' long average and still partially rooted in the ground. The machine never spun a tire and I didn't even have to give it any throttle at all to pull them out in low - 1st gear in 4wd! Awesome power! The grapple made very short work of the tree and the stumps as well! LOL
I want to post a couple of pictures here but need to know what the maximum size is for the site before I do so I don't make anyone mad here.
Thanks,
Tim

ILUVBIGBUCKS,
When you go to Manage Attachments below you will see the maximum file size for the various formats of attachments. If it's to large it will not upload.
Looking forward to seeing your pics, maybe some in action.

I didn't get any pictures of us hauling the large mesquite trunks. I am going to load them for a friend in a couple of weeks and will take some pictures of that then. I also purchased an 8' Big Bee yesterday and it cuts very nice. I can't wait to get home from work and finish one of my fields that is about 10 acres this evening.

Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
Great looking setup all the way around. Could you get a closer pic of your canopy/sun shade. Was this an add on or dealer installed. I could use one on my 5530 rops.

Re: 8560 Finally Ordered....I'm Fired Up!
Thanks idaho2.
The canopy was a dealer add on. I will get a brand name for you. I do like it as it is aluminum diamond plate on top and it is insulated on the bottom to keep from having the hot South TX sun burn through it.
I will try and remember to get a close up picture of it this evening.
Thanks,
Tim
