    Default 2007 model 2615

Wondering if you guys think $16,000 was a fair price for a 2007 2615 with loader and backhoe. It has around 600 hours on it. I was thinking that was a little steep.....or not? Thanks in advance.

The backhoe alone is a 7K option new. Hard to come by for a used BH. If available I'd figure a used BH at about 5K so that puts the tractor value at 11K. Price seems about right if in good shape. A friend of mine bought an 06 w/ loader for 10.5K w/ a 5' rotary cutter (no BH).
If you decide to buy and don't want the BH I'd be interested in buying it for mine. let me know.

I will have some use for the BH, at least in the beginning. I'll keep you in mind though. I'm going to look at it Thursday. Anything inparticular I should look for when I get there or consider before buying? I'm talking about things that are known trouble spots with these tractors, or options that you guys have or wished you had? I'll be using it for foodplots, mowing my yard, and leveling some areas in my field.

Tundra, I've been following threads on the 2615 since 2005. I've yet to see a post with serious issues. If it will give you peace of mind, check out these reviews: Mahindra 2615 Reviews - TractorByNet.com

Go to Craigslist, select Maine, and enter search for loader. There is one for sale at a kioti dealer for 10500. ...for comparison.

$14,500 would be might top dollar offer.

Thanks for the replies. I've been trying to decide what the backhoe is worth....that's the hard part. Like the one in Maine, it seems $10000 to $11000 is fair for T,L. This one also comes with a like new rock rake and only has 500 hours not 600. I did finally go look at it and not sure if there are issues or not. I found oil on back and side of the oil pan. Not dripping just wet. Can't tell if it just pan bolts or not. Also it looks kind of faded like it stayed outside for a period of time. Other than that, it looks really good. So, if I figure a used BH is $5,000, I guess $15000 would be close....not really a good deal, but fair. Agree?

I'm a total newbie, so check, but I think a brand new backhoe (mahindra, with sub frame) is under 6k... Call a few dealers and tell them u r thinking about getting a backhoe for your 2615... Then back out what u think depreciation is.

BH for a 2615 was 7K when new. Used ones for a 2615 are very hard to find since original owners who bought them with their 2615 usually don't part with them and 2615's are not a current model sold. Aftermarket BH's are usually the only option for those who didn't get one with tractor.

    Tundra,
I bought mine new in 04 and only problems I've had are loader control valve replacement (under warranty) and I've had to replace the glow plugs.
