Lost My Tractor In A Fire
You may recall the Texas wildfires that occured on Labor Day in Sept 2011.
Over 1700 homes fell victim to the fires including mine. I was out of town when
the fire started. By the time I got back to town the roads leading to my house
had been blocked due to safety concerns. Ten days passed before we were
allowed back onto our property.
Everything had burned to the ground - nothing left. Home, work shop, decks, pool,
vehicles, and tractor - all gone.
We have since rebuilt and life goes on. We were truly blessed by our community,
our friends, our co-workers, and our families. Their support and donations helped
us to survive and to carry forward.
Here are a few pictures of my Mahindra 2816 that burned. Had less than 50 hours on it.
Last photo is of my new 3016 HST just got a couple of days ago. Life is good!
