- 2002 Kubota B2410 HST, 2012 Mahindra 5035 PST & a Labradoodle named Honey Bear
I looked long and hard at buying a new tractor, but with new pricing being as it was and my pocketbook being as it is, plus taxes on top of new pricing, I have to settle for used. I found a 2012 5035 PST with 333 hours on it. The individual who owns it has always kept it inside and it looks almost brand new. He moved up to a larger JD cab tractor.
It has an installed bucket level rod on the FEL, a nice full metal canopy, a set of remotes on the rear and Cat 1 and Cat 2 lift arms all installed at the dealer. The current owner installed a very heavy duty anchor point custom made on the front end. I figured this would be a nice feature for pulling small trees with the tractor in reverse. It still has the remainder of the two year aggregate warranty through March 2015. The guy says he is firm at $23.500, but he will deliver to me over a 150 mile distance. Does this sound reasonable?
