Hey dealers,

With T 4 standards what is going to happen to these 2 models (6110 / 5035), I'm trying to decide between them.
I know the 6110 isn't Mahindra built and doesn't offer the Power Shuttle,

Is the 5035 a Mahindra built motor ? Is the 6110 Built by Doedong I do believe going to
get T4 Compliant without a Particulant filter ?

Knowing what you know.....Which one of these machines is better ?

Thanks

Both of these models in the T4 compliant versions will be renamed or renumbered, and both will be powered by the Mahindra mCRD engines.

I personaly have the 6110 and love it it has the Doedong engine and have had no issiues with it. That being said I ha e less than 100 hrs on it. I enjoy the cab and a/c . Motor is quite and fuel efficient. Cleared about 5 acers 20 something years of not being touched. Plenty of hp, comfortable to run for long hours. I also was looking at the 5035 and satisfied with my decision

Thanks for the responses guys, I really like the 6110, I guess if I want one in the current config. I better make a decision.

Yes all tractors from the 30hp compact to the 85hp will have the New Mahindra engine in them. Right now the 5035 is a Mahindra engine also. The 6110 is not. Curious have you looked at a 6530?

Yes, I have seen the 6530. The reason I like the 6110 over the 6530.... I want a cab tractor, and I want to be able to tow it with my 1/2 ton
F150. I think to the 6530 would be too heavy for that.

The 6110 will become the 2565. It will have a 3-cylinder 148.6 cubic inch turbocharged mCRD Mahindra engine. It's a lot of tractor for the money. 6110's have been out of stock at the DC's for a couple of months. I expect you can find a few on dealer's lots still, but not for long. The tractor weighs about 6500 with a loader, closer to 8000 with the rears filled. That gets sketchy with a half ton, but I know the newer pickups have some pretty impressive ratings for half tons, matching or exceeding some of the 3/4 ton trucks from the 80's.

My dad bought a 6110 on the same day as I bought my 5035 back in 2012. He has almost 400 hours on his and I have 300 on mine. He is about to take his back to the dealer for the 4th time. Twice for the front end controller and once for the a/c not working. This time it is the front end controls again AND his PTO won't work. I wouldn't take his tractor if he gave it to me for free. Even with water filled rear tires it wants to tip with a bale of hay up front and the forward reverse controls are clunky at best.

My 5035 with PST is awesome. I've documented a few things on here, but I (a mechanical novice) have fixed them all with electrical tape, white lithium grease or a fuse swap...with the exception of a defective hydraulic hose that showed up on the first day.

This is coming from a guy who would love to have a cab tractor....
