purchased max26xl shuttle 2 yrs ago with backhoe... machine will do everything you need... I use it for side business, great for getting into small back yards, but enough to handle most things you'll need... dug 200' ft for waterline 4' deep, dug out stumps. boulders... you cant go wrong...
have 4' landpride brushhog... 50 " landpride tiller, single drop plow, 5' push blade, 6' York rake plus the backhoe... just plumbed in 3rd function for grapple... have 300 hrs on it... I've done all maintenance as scheduled and have had 0 issues... hope this helps... Good luck with whatever you choose...
Nice setup, how many hours do you have on it? I have been saving up for the third function grapple setup myself.

I purchased a 26XL HST last April with a back blade for 15,500. Since then I have added a 5' brush hog, 48" rototiller, a set of pallet forks, debris forks and a 48" box blade. It handles them all without issues. It has just under 100 hours on it now. The rear tires do need ballast.

surprised you need ballast... mine came loaded from the dealer at no extra cost...

Re: Max 26xl (Real Ballast)

A 700 Lb steel filled concrete block plus 60lb block of steel on front attached to bottom of brush guard helps.

Weight is your friend. My Max28 is over 3,000 lbs and that is just about right for it's size and power.

For the size of the tractor, it has quite the powerful 3Pt hitch, as it can lift a ton.

just went through dealer for setup... checked 4-5 places around me, all the same price... 1500.00 for kit and labor from them...
I work 50 hrs mon-fri, then usually all wknd on machine... no time to do it myself...

To clarify, is 1500.00 including grapple?

My BIL & SIL just bought a home 6 miles form us. Nice place with a lot of room the clutter up!. He bought the previous owners B2620 with 70 hours on it as part of the deal. It is just a tad smaller than my Max28 size wise, 50" bucket vs 54" and about 250 lbs. lighter bare weight. My slightly "Modified" Max has +40-50% more capacity all around. But the Max is like comparing a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - Sports Sedan | Mitsubishi Motors to a Honda Accord, or Acura. The specs and performance of the EVO blows the Honda away. But the Honda is a "nicer" better featured machine. I knew this when I bought the Max28. It was the right choice for me, but I appreciate the little extra features and quality of Kubota.

Does anyone know of a Company that makes a hard cab for the Max 26XL. The only place that I have found them is through Mahindra. Curtis does not make them at all for Mahindra. I am not at this time inclined to be forced to buy a Mahindra cab.
