Mahindra 2555 hst cab vs tym 554 hst cab

Tym is about 3500 less. It does have dpf. The tym lifts less, revs higher, small 4 cylinder vs larger 3 cylinder and the front end of the tractor is put together different to mount the motor. Does not look as strong. Pretty much everything else looks the same. What do you guys think? My Mahindra dealer can get either one so no problem there.

Do you have a Rural King close by? I saw they carry the RK tractor line now, made by TYM. Dont know anything about them, just know the prices looked pretty good.

Better hydraulics, bigger engine, heavier, stronger, sturdier, and no dpf. Why are you asking the question?The no dpf feature alone would be worth the difference to me.I can drive to 3 Mahindra dealers within 30-60 minutes. I know of no Tym dealers. Mahindra is very well represented by dealers in this part of the country.

Just getting opinions. My Mahindra dealer is also a TYM dealer. The dpf is the big issue.

Every diesel I have ever owned with a DPF (3), the DPF was a big non issue. It is blown out of the water. You can still have plenty of problems with the EGR/DOC on the Mahindra design. Time will tell

If you have a look on the side of any of the Mahindra 25 series tractors you'll probably find that they were made by TYM......

Yes TYM makes 2500s but using a Mahindra engine. Same as the Mitsu built 1500s.

Pretty sure the 1526 has the Mitsubishi engine as do the max series.
