Manuals for a 4530

Am close to buying a new 4530. Dealer told me all available manuals for this tractor come with it on a CD. Searching the internet I found a service manual and a parts manual are available. Are these manuals, the service and parts really included with the tractor? Other brands I looked at do not and these must be purchased extra and are expensive.

Dennis,
This may be a dealer supply item. I did recieve the owners manual, but not the service or parts manual. Your dealer may be supplying this on his own as a selling feature.

There is an "Owner's Guide" CD but it is bascially a condensed version of the actual Owner's Manual.

I just purchased a 2007 Mahindra 4530 on 10/26/07. The tractor came with an owners manual for the tractor, an owners manual for the FEL, and a cd that is basically an interactive owners manual. It did not come with a parts or service manual. A funny thing happened yesterday. I went to the dealership to buy some touch-up paint for my new 4530 and my salesperson said he'll just give me a can. I thought this was very nice until I walked in the parts department and one of the parts guys said "Oh I see you got your paint, that can comes with the tractor". If I wouldn't have gone back to the dealership, I never would have known that the new tractors come with a can of touch-up paint.

each tractor really doesn't come with a can of paint. the dealer only gets about 1 can of gray and 1 can of red per 5 tractors....but dealers rarely use all this paint and have excess left.

I'm still waiting for my cap. Didn't get any paint either.

And, my Dad just bought a 2615 from them yesterday... so I should have a big gold star next to my name

Oh well...

Actually, after they loaded up my trade-in and was about to leave, TR, my salesman, handed me a brown bag. Inside was a zippered canvas Mahindra bag with extra fuses, bulbs and lynch pins inside. Also in the bag was a Mahindra cap! The new style, not the trucker style.
