I currently own a massey ferg.1240 4X4 28hp. and want to step up to bigger HP tractor.I have been pricing the mahindra 4110 with skid steer bucket price is $20,900 the kubota 3940 grand L with skid steer bucket(gilde shift tranny) is $21,750.Not much difference in price IMHO.What would be the best choice,I have read alot of positives about the Mahindra 4110 tractors.Dealer support is good as well for both brand of tractors.Thanks for any feed back.coobie

coobie,
If you check the physical dimensions, and the weight of the tractors you will see that the 4110 is the heavier, larger tractor which is beneficial for most ground engagement tasks and loader work. The best thing for you to do is try each tractor and see which one is most comfortable for you to use and weigh your pros and cons. Good luck and have fun shopping.

coobie;
Before I made the decision to but my 4110 I looked at Kubota, NH, Branson and Case/IH. What helped me decide was the 4110 is heavier and a little larger with larger R-4 tires. The NH TC 45 I looked at seemed like I was falling off the front all the time with the really sloped front end. The Kubotas just seemed flimsy to me. If I had not bought the 4110 I would have bought the NH TC 45. Both dealers have very good support, I just like the feel of the 4110. Hope my rambling helps. Jeff |
