Default I turned my Mahindra into a T-Rex today!

I told my 4 year old that the Mahindra was being turned into a T-Rex today! Needs some paint and some grinding here and there but it is amazing! 84" grapple!

Thanks Bob! I saved a lot of money on a best offer on Ebay. The cheaper model doesnt' have a very good paint job. I am gonna do a little grinding to get the quick tach to fit right, just a little extra metal on the attachment adapter. Then I'll clean it up nice and paint it. I like painting my own attachments anyway since I can touch them up later then when they scratch.

If anyone is interested in these these guys are super nice and very reasonable on shipping.

Just do a search at this store for "root grapple". They have many different sizes.

Wow, Tim!

The title maybe should be "T-Wrecks." That thing looks like it could put the hurtin' on anything that got in its way.

I've kind of thought about one for my little tractor. I got to use a friend's skid steer with the grapple attached, when he took out a bunch of large oak trees close to my house, with his track hoe. A grapple sure can help move a big bunch of trees, stumps, and brush without a lot of straining and cussing.

Anyway, neat!

I recently purchased a 60-inch heavy duty grapple and had little time to use before Vermont winter snow set-in early December. The shipped grapple weighed in at 690, which is not a problem for my 4110, but with the grapple extending 3 feet beyond the quick-attach, the weight is certainly noticeable. I question if I should have gone with a light duty.
How is the weight on your grapple as it also extends outward?

That grapple looks very similar to the ones these people offer. Skid Steer loader attachments

I bought a rock bucket from them about 2 years ago and have been very pleased with it, even though it doesn't look very much like the picture on their website (the actual one I received was a great improvement)

Neato.

Last Nov I had the skid-steer compatible QA unit installed on my Mahindra 5525 ML250 FEL. Now I'm compatible with the world of skid steer implements. Finding them to be pretty pricey.

Hi,

I have an 84 in Grapple for my 6530 4wd. I like it. I am disappointed with the power of the lift on my tractor. It does not seen to have the power I thought it would have.

The Grapple weighs 1,000 pounds without anything loaded on it. I am able to work with it but if I had known how weak the 6530 would be I would have gotten the 7520 4WD.

I wanted the 6530 because of its turning radius being shorter than the 7520 but the Stronger lift would have been nice with this Grapple.

There may be something wrong with my lift adjustment. Does anyone have any thoughts about the lift of the 6530?

JIROBBI,
With a 1000 pound grapple installed, your loader should lift a little more than a ton. You might have a suction line air leak.
