Thanks
I just talked to a guy who is selling his 2006 Mahindra 2615HST with loader and backhoe for $15,900. The hoe, equipped with a tooth bar, has around 30 hrs., on it. He offered to sell just the hoe to me for $4500 delivered. At the moment, I don't have a use for it, and it would be an investment, more than a need. I'm aware of what you can do with a backhoe, and I am wondering if it is possible to put a thumb on this unit.

Any and all comments are welcome. I might be able to raise the cash, and if I could, the guy might be able to keep his tractor. His only reason for selling was financial.

Price for the hoe is excellent with only 30 hrs. If you are mechanically inclined either a manual or hydraulic thumb could be added. I wish he wasn't all the way across the country or you'd have competition trying to get it. I guess you won't have to hop on your tractor and drive here to borrow mine if and when I get one.

Finished paying off my 3510 in June. Hmm, so how much is a backhoe?

BH for my 2615 lists around $7k or so. One for your 3510 is a little more. MahindraUSA lists a BH for the 3510 at $8650.
