I installed 8 new bolts today with Locktite 242 Threadlocker.............the blue stuff. I had to lower both subframes with the rear tires off. I am so glad that is over. I had to take a 15/16th wrench to my welding shop to have it heated and bent to fit the hard to reach bolt. I also put Theadlocker on the front bolt threads. I throughly coated all the bolt threads.

funny how that happens. my brush hog wheel always falls off - it's an ancient brush hog (you can see daylight coming up through the deck) - it came w/ an old tractor that i bought and had a small long machine bolt functioning as the pin to hold the wheel on. the hole is too small to get anything substantial through it and the replacement bolt eventually wears through, falls out and the wheel disappears. someday when this brush hog has rusted away to nothing and i have a bright shiny new one i'll probably have fond memories of the old brush hog. actually, no i won't.
