what size of plow
I was just wondering what size of plow would be recommended for a 4110?

Re: what size of plow

Being from MS, must be talking about a field plow, not a snow plow.

Re: what size of plow
Yeah no snow here.
Im just not sure how big a plow the 4110 can pull. Would a two bottom be too much or could I go even bigger. There is alot of clay here.

I would stay with a 2 bottom. Ken Sweet

Re: what size of plow
My 4110 pulls my 2x16 Massey plow just fine, even with the R4 tires. My plow was originally a 3x16 that I removed the 3rd section - never did try to use it as a 3 but I think it might have handled it since my gardens are all clay with very little rock. The 2 bottom does what I need and I have spare parts if I ever need them. I removed the original Cat 2 mounting on the plow and welded a couple pieces of heavy angle iron with holes for Cat.1 draw pins. Can't use my hydraulic toplink either, have to use an extra long manual toplink just for the plow but once I got it set to the right length , it's good to go everytime.
