Need to put in a fence at the end of the month, so we bought the post hole digger yesterday and put in a test post today.

Very nice job, looks like you got the hang of it and it sure beats doing it by hand with a pry bar and post hole digger......ugh.:D

Nice pics !
You probably know but I'am gonna say it make sure you put 80/90 wt oil in that PHD they(most) come shipped dry. Labels stating that should have been on it.
Play safe, might wanna do search(TBN) on horrors of accidents/deaths from phd's.
Enjoy nice unit ! Awesome big arse auger.

Yes I just happened to have a partial jug of 80/90 in the garage...I emptied what I had in the jug in it and turned out to be exactly what I needed. Filled up to the side port.

I love it when stuff works out like that!

That looks like a nice PHD you got yourself. If you could what brand, model and where purchased? Looking to get one for installing barn poles. Thanks, and keep the pictures coming, I for one love seeing what others are doing with their machines. My wife thinks I may be addicted to this site almost as much as I am to my tractor itself!!!

It's a county line, bought it at tractor supply co. Was about $600 total PHD and 9" auger. It works great, just make sure you have some 80/90 to put in it.
