I work around heavy equipment every day. So I do know not to get under raised booms or truck dump bodys without blocking.
I've heard of accidents in our area and seen to many safty videos where the unthinkable did happen !!

Its not the arm that raises and lowers the bucket that is in the way - its the fixed support arm that extends from the center of the tractor to the front. The only way to get around it is to detach the FEL.

Anyway, I removed the loader last week for the first time. I've had the tractor for a year and use the FEL regularly but not as often lately since most of the major clearing is done. I was surprised at how much easier it is to manuever and see while mowing without the FEL. If it goes back on as easy as it comes off, I'll probably remove it for mowing - which is now the primary use for the tractor.

OK.
I see a lot of tractors and FELS with that support on.
I never gave it a thought about them being in the way for cleaning the screen.
