Default aftermarket filters for 6000

I am new to this forum but it looks great. Bought a 6000 over a year ago and love it handles implements great. I found an aftermarket oil filter at napa for the 6000 after doing some intensive research basically because dealer racked me 32 bucks for an oil filter. was wanting to know if anyone else has cross-referenced any other filters- fuel, air, hydraulic. Thanks, Pills

Well, don't keep us in suspense!?! I'm VERY interested in a NAPA crossreference for the oil, especially if Mahindra wants $32 for it. This would be a worthy endeavor for the board as I'm sure the 28/35/41 "10" series are probably different. I'd be interested in the "00" series cross references. BobG in VA

I have a 5500 and have been very please with it - so far (only 33hrs).
Please let us know the NAPA filter number for the oil filter you found that will replace the Mahindra OEM oil filter, and any others you may have discovered. I think they'll be the same for 4500, 5500, 6000.
My nearest dealer is 70 mi. away & I am not sure they stock a lot of Mahinda stuff. The dealer I bought from is 125 mi. away but I feel sure they stock the common Mahindra filters, there is a NAPA store right here in town.
When I bought my Mahindra I asked about the cost of a complete filter change out, all filters routinely changed. The dealer ran up a list and it was a little over $100.00 - not to bad but a long drive.
It would be interesting and very beneficial to me, and others if anyone that has found other filter cross overs for OEM filters that might be available locally would post their findings.
Thanks

Sorry guys I don't have the number here at the house the tractor is 2 mi. away in the barn. I will go tomorrow after work and get that number for you all. I found the thread size to be 18mm and crossed the gasket dia. from sae to metric. I found the filter manufactures name in India that makes all of M&M' s oil filters and the same filter is also used on a puegeot diesel engine, with these facts I went to local NAPA store and we looked through there filter catalog and found a filter to match that is also a puegeot filter! Plus WIX makes all of NAPA GOLD oil filters. NAPA SILVER I believe is not made by WIX! I also feel that WIX is a superior filter!!!

It sounds a bit steep for an oil filter for an "oo" series Mahindra, but that is up to each dealer what they charge. With that said i can tell you if you want to stick with an oem mahindra filter, i can send you them ups for alot less, New England Tractor drop me an e-mail and i'll give you more details.

Boys/Girls: I went to Advance Auto a couple of days ago and asked them to cross the NAPA 1182. They showed the NAPA part, but no other references. At this point it seems there is no other cross to the NAPA. Anyone know who makes the Mahinda filter (It may have been said but I missed it). BobG in VA
