Default Have you taken your front loader off?

I took my front loader off tonight for the first time. Very easy to do. I got the book out and set it on the tractor and followed it to the T. One thing I thought might give me a problem is the tooth bar. The instructions say initially to dump the bucket and set it about 1/2 inch from the ground. The teeth make that about 3 1/2 inches. But it really did not make a difference. Hope I can say the same when I go to put it back on. Also, I did it on gravel, and put down two 2x10 blocks under the stands to try to keep them level so it would go on easier. The book says the leveler the surface, the easier to get on and off. Question though, when I put it back on, should I grease the cup at the top of the post where the loader rests? If anyone knows, please let me know. It is steel on steel so it would make sense, but just don't know for sure.
