I used the FEL to dig up about 40' of old culvert. The 5035 made it easy. I have attached a couple phone pics. It sure beats a mattock and a shovel. The tractor never missed a beat and just kept asking for more.

Neat...!!! :) [ I was just out on mine, driving on top of the 1' or so of hard pack snow in my yard... did not even sink in... Our ground is still froze solid, single digits each night.. :( ] But at least, you are having fun......

Nice job! I've never been very good at "digging" with my FEL like that. I can scoop a golf ball off the lawn without touching the grass, but I can't manage do dig with it very well. Then again, mine is a lot smaller than yours, too. Do you have a toothbar?

I sometimes have a Piranha toothbar on mine and it has helped me dig MUCH better than a plane bucket, but my ditches never look as good as yours!

Thanks for the replies. We are heading into spring finally. About 3 weeks ago the ground was still froze solid. I doubt that I could have made a dent in it.

I don't have a toothbar but it would have made things easier. We had several issues with large flat rocks not letting me dig. We had to loosen them with a pry bar. I would just slide off the top. I have about another 40' to dig up and replace but it is deeper. I'll most likely will be renting an excavator to handle that part.

Mike did you cover the drain pipe directly with the boulders or did you use a layer of soil first?

Last Pic was at our current farm, previous pics are at my wife's old house before we sold it I fixed driveway and built walls, No rocks over pipe , top layer was 1-1/2' stone.

The B7200 is sold, I'm waiting for the new owner to it pick up, she is fine old girl.

The new Max28 is the replacement small tractor for our place.
